My background is similar to Mark’s in that I spent over a decade in Christian Ministry and another decade working alongside Randy Alcorn, a fairly well-known Christian author, as a Research Assistant. I’m a born student and a life-time learner with another 10 years of higher education under my belt: four years of college, an M.A. and just a single class shy of a second, M.Div. degree – that’s another story.

My wife and I moved to Sisters in 2020. I’ve been in sales here, with lots of involvement in various networking entities. I grew up in Seattle; my wife, Arlyee grew up in Spokane, and we’ve spent most of our adult life in the Vancouver/Portland area. We celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2025, and we have four grown children and eight grandkids.
